Green, Greener…
In his weekly column "Max's Column" for TBmagazine, Maxim Behar talks about the difficulties and changes in the Bulgarian economy and business and the only force that counts - experience.
We live in a "green" euphoria without much of an understanding what it is all about. We are overwhelmed with screens, newspapers and social media with carbon, solar and all sorts of other terms. Convictions pass through our ears – how we will manage on our own if nature is on our side, how we will be over sponsored if we buy an electric car...
However, we need to get off the merry-go-round of sweet stories and really take matters into our own hands. There is nothing complicated and unusual. All these years, people have been looking for ways to save money, protect nature, and make energy more affordable and cleaner. Now technology and fast communications make it possible to know more and do more.
Soon, solar panels on top of new homes will become, if not mandatory, then a huge advantage in order to make them attractive to customers. Even sooner, electric cars will probably take over the market. If we can't quickly reach Norway (68% of all cars there are electric), then at least we will appear on the map of Europe with some percentage in the ranking.
But that's not the important thing now - the state, the government, some ministry, agency, or something like that should start a super-fast and effective communication campaign. So those who haven't yet understood that this is the future, turn green with envy, that they are too slow.
Even greener…
