For The People

In his weekly column "Max's Column" for TBmagazine, Maxim Behar talks about the difficulties and changes in the Bulgarian economy and business and the only force that counts - experience.

Bulgaria is already in an endless spiral of elections, this will probably continue for a few more years and more and more often we hear the words... "The People".

A badly coiffed auntie from the screen explains to us how the best thing her fictional party does "For the People" is to ask for an increase in pensions, and again "For the People" an increase in salaries, and we hear often that "The People" want this or that... And these politicians on the screen, or at rallies talk nonsense, the biggest of which is that they are "meeting The People". Or when we talked "to The People" they told us what to do when we win the elections, what to be or not to be.

"The People"! They are in every pre-election platform, campaign, debate, sentence. So far, so good! But I wonder if politicians or wanna-be politicians aren't aliens or something, not people, if they get so excited about that.

Well... they're probably not human, although they look like ones, but apparently, they only look like one. You guys think I messed something up? What do you think, because I am already lost.
