The new “masks”

In his weekly column "Max's Column" for TBmagazine, Maxim Behar talks about the difficulties and changes in the Bulgarian economy and business and the only force that counts - experience.

We often go back to those unforgettable, but also unusual, even terrible days when we were on lock down in our houses and apartments, and hid masks in our pockets. Now, from the distance of just under a year, it seems faras if it never happened. But all we need to do is look at the pictures on our phones and we are immediately brought back to the film.

Well, now the masks are gone, we travel like crazy and breathe with full chests fresh or not so fresh air. But full chested and free. Although it's far more complicated around us - there's war, recessions and inflations, a mess in politics and all sorts of other completely unexpected things. These things have imposed new 'masks' on us - save more, look around for where it is cheaper and how not to overwork ourselves so much, because - as I hear people say - whether we work or not, there will still be inflation.

We must take off these masks and be convinced that only with a lot of hard and innovative work, the world and Bulgaria can come out again in the relatively calm and happy pre-pandemic period. The sooner we cast these fears away from us, the faster we will get to where we all want to be - in a new, and better world.
